An Austin-based artificial intelligence chipmaker has secured $110 million in new funding, thanks in part to backing from Microsoft Corp. Neurophos Inc. said Thursday it plans to expand its North Austin headquarters and hire 80 employees locally. The latest investment brings the company’s total funding to $118 million.
