A housing development that could nearly double the inventory in Liberty Hill, a fast-growing Williamson County city, has won approval from county commissioners. Houston-based Johnson Development Corp. plans more than 1,800 homes across 764 acres in Freely, a master-planned community first announced in November 2025. The first two phases include 311 single-family lots.
